On request for festivals and special events during the year :

DIGITAL PRIMITIVES AFRICAN SOUL
Digital Primitives the new york based trio which defies definition, join forces with three African master musicians, representing different musical traditions.

Was created through the travels of Assif Tsahar Africa and the musicians he met and work with. For a long time he had a dream of bringing together these amazing traditional musicians with his long time friends and band members of Digital Primitives. Last year this dream came a live for a tour in France they all played together in Banlieues Bleues, Jazz d' Or and Jazz Atlantic. From the first rehersal the band braught about a rare synergy where each musician presents his own musical tradition, flowing through the bands unique musical combinations these musical worlds deconstructed into new musical horizons.

SOLO DJA Kabako, Vocal, Guitar

Born Legally blind Solo's immense talent brought him from being a pour child begging on the streets begging for the local mosque to become one of the most famous singers in Burkina Faso. Solo's voice and delivary is one of a kind, he has toured and Preformed with Farka Ali Toure, Adama Dramane and many others yet his talent has been rearly seen in Europe.

Garikayi TIRIKOTI, M'bira, Hosho, Vocal

Garikayi Tirikoti is a master of M'bira of the Shoana tradition which comes from Zimbabwe. His techinique and ability to play a few Mbira parts all by himself is unique and extra ordinary. He invented new kinds of Tuning for the M'bira and constructed new approach for large M'bira ensemble.

MAMADOU DIABATE, Balafon

Mamadou comes from Bobo Burkina Faso which is famous for it's Balophone players. born to a family of Balafon players he started playing at a very young age and became one of the great virtuoso of the instrument. He has toured Europe with Awe Deme and Belgian star Stef Kamil Carlens and Adama Dramane.

COOPER - MOORE,  the Diddley -bow, the Mouth Bow, the fretless banjo, flutes and voice

An instrument builder and inventer . Born in the 40's in then Apartheid South of the US he musical exploration are rooted in the blues and old African American traditions from were he takes his inspartion for his musical instruments. Known for his Piano playing along side David S. Ware and William Parker, Cooper-Moore with his unique insturmnets brings to Digital Primitives a whole other side of his musical universe.

ASSIF TSAHAR, Tenor Sax, Bass Clarinet, M'bira

Born in Israel Assif honed his skills in New York during the 1990's. Playing with William Parker, Rasheid Ali Peter Kowald and many others. Today he is one of the most creative saxophone players on the scene, known for his fairy style of playing and use of extended technics. This project came out of his repeated Journeys to Africa and the wonderful musicians he met there while volunteering support to traditional music festival in the continent.

CHAD TAYLOR, Precussion, Balafon, M'bira
