Tenemos el placer de añadir un nuevo músico a nuestra contratación nternacional: Eivind Opsvik, un músico noruego residente desde 1998 en Nueva York. Su instrumento principal es el contrabajo pero también toca la lap steel guitar, teclados antiguos, la batería, compone, graba, mezcla y produce (tiene un estudio en su casa) y lleva un sello discográfico: Loyal Label.

Con su grupo Overseas ha grabado hasta la fecha cuatro cds, del más reciente, Overseas IV, dice  Allaboutjazz: "Overseas IV is a fully realized effort whose equitable blend of folksy melody, neo-classical harmonic sophistication, and avant-garde improvisation transcends the limitations of genre."
